Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 combines two of the most crucial baby items: the strollers and infant car seats. It makes hopping off and on public transportation (and walking up and down stairs) much easier.
Doona's infant car seat and stroller combo is a fantastic choice. It's the only fully integrated travel system in the world that allows you to change from the car seat to the stroller without causing any disruption to your baby.
Simple to Use
Car seat and stroller combinations that are simple to use are essential for parents. These systems allow you to easily change between running errands, or walking the dog and going for an outing. They also help you keep up with your little one's changing needs, so you can focus on enjoying your family's adventures. Our test subjects are awed by how smoothly and conveniently these travel systems move, whether they have one front wheel or a swiveling rear wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are easy to move. However, the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be moved with one hand.
Certain models are difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attachment process and straps that go over the infant carrier's bottom part. It's tempting to skip these steps however it could result in dangerous results.
In the same way some models are hard to fold and store away making them less practical than other. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and heavy frame. Some testers also find the canopy of this model to be unsatisfactory. On the other hand it is the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is very easy to fold with the pull of a lever and a snap of a button. It is also a good choice for parents who are planning to use their car seat on vehicles of other people because it can be removed from the base and reattached to any stroller that is standard.
Easy to Fold
It should be simple to fold and unfold the car seat, regardless of whether you're storing it in your trunk or the closet. The most effective combinations we've tested fold easily with one hand and are sturdy enough to use on long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, moving smoothly over uneven surfaces and bumps. Some combos can only be connected and removed using straps. This could seem like a step in the back and could make it harder for parents to secure their child's car seat properly.
We love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo due to its practical features and sturdy build, that include a huge storage basket that can be accessed from the front to the back. SafeCenter LATCH, a unique feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo makes it simple to install a car seat by connecting the lower anchors and pulling the straps tightly.
It's also fairly light which makes it a great option for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored very well in our tests of user-friendliness. Both have one front wheel that's easy to push (one-handed! ), as well as a swivel wheel with a variety of angles which is ideal for shopping or running the errands. The only drawback is that they are heavy and can be difficult to lift when carrying a child in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble
Some car seat and stroller combos can be difficult to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to put together. It comes with a handy guide. Other models we tested such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly easy to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to secure the carrier in the base, and then to remove it.
In 2 in 1 stroller with car seat took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together. This is a bit fast when you consider how much time is saved by not having to remove the pieces. Most of these models have an easy process for attaching and detaching the toddler seat, as well.
